Color Project

"The Scream" is one of the most famous art pieces in the world, and almost everybody knows about it. This artwork was created by a Norwegian artist, Edvard Munch. I choose to recreate this artwork because I think it's funny and relates to my student life. This artwork shows my student life when I have bad grades. The original name of this artwork is "The Scream", but I renamed it into "The F Scream". I also changed the colors of the artwork from dark to bright colors. I want bright colors because it looks young and happy, just like student life. Even though the person in this artwork is screaming, the bright colors still shows us something funny. I used primary and secondary colors in my artwork. For doing this artwork, I changed a lot, not only the colors, but also changed the background with an F grade. I painted it with water color and some oil pastels. At first, I used black paint to draw a screaming person and the F paper. Then I colored the background and the person with water color because it's easy to paint. Finally, I added some accessories on the person such as golden watch, bracelet, etc. I worked really hard on the project, making sure every detail was the way I envisioned it. I did it the way that I did because that made the most sense to me, and it felt like that way had the most impact.
